What to submit and what to expect

We accept five different types of manuscripts for publishing under our impress:

• Short collections of poetry for our chapbook series (10 - 20 poems)
• Collections of poetry for our new poetry series (30+ poems)
• Fiction less than 30,000 words for our novella series
• Novel length fiction for our new writing series
• Play or other scripts for our new drama series

We do not have a set number of books we publish each year, but the chapbook publications - poetry chapbooks, novellas, and scripts - are more frequently published than the perfect bound books.

All submission must be made through our submission email. Attach your manuscript as a Word, PDF, RTF, or Open Document Format file.

There is a size limit on files you can attach. If your file exceeds 10 MB, you will have to use our Contact Form to discuss with us how you submit it.

We review all submissions and will inform you of our decision within 6 weeks of receipt.

This month's submission email

All submissions should be made using our submission email. Don't use or copy this email address until you are ready to submit and don't use it to contact us with other enquiries (use the Contact Form for that). Use the body of the email to tell us a little about yourself and attach your work as a single file (.doc, .docx, .pdf, or .odt).
