She andThena often seemed to run with the same crowd. They loved thebrainstorming sessions, but neither could be bothered with thefollow-up. No matter how many times heshowed up late with those scrunched up, last stand tofu bricks,no one ever seemed to call him on the carpet. %u201cI%u2019m sooo in themood for banana-nut. %u201dNo sooner had the words passed through her lips than Luckyand Gene entered the room, bearing muffins with the smilingorange Happenstance logo on the side.%u201cThey were out of banana-nut,%u201d Lucky said as Whimsyapproached. %u201cI got blueberry, zucchini-apple, and lemonpoppyseed.%u201d He bragged. Whimsy pouted a little, contemplatingwhether her second favorite would be good enough.
