                                    Bozo's Obstacle27%u201cLove is like a Faucet%u201dHe wears a blue rain poncho, and a yellow Acme Plumbingbaseball cap, and sits at a rickety table the size of a dinner plate,in Joanne%u2019s Cafe. With a contortionist%u2019s ease, he crosseshis legs over twice, like the intertwined limbs of a tree.Intently, he compares his Mega Millions lottery ticket withthe winning numbers on the TV overhead, and tears itinto little pieces. He shifts his eyes to the jukebox, listeningto a smoky female voice singing, %u201cLove will make you dothings that you know is wrong%u201d and shakes his head in accord.Joanne herself refills his thermos halfway. He puts a littlesomething extra in to top it off, and drinks. Outside,it%u2019s raining. He mouths along, %u201cLove is like a faucet, it turnsoff and on.%u201d He caps the thermos and stuffs it into his canvasshoulder bag. Making sure to catch Joanne%u2019s eye, he leavesa dollar bill on the table and puts on his hood. She winks.He smiles, the one time that day. He stays dry in a bus shelteron a bench next to an old couple, and sings, %u201cSometimeswhen you think it%u2019s on baby, it has turned off and gone.%u201dThe couple exit briskly and opens their umbrella. The rainlets up. He goes to the newsstand, buys a lottery ticket.
